The Singapore Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) framework covers skills that equip individuals with the “know-how” to perform their specific jobs.
This course provides training to those working in the F&B industry. It aims to equip participants with a basic knowledge of food hygiene and to raise awareness towards better food hygiene practices. Upon successful completion of the course and after passing all assessments, participants will be awarded a Statement of Attainment by WDA.
DIMENSIONS International College is a WSQ Approved Training Organisation (ATO) of the Workforce Development Agency (WDA) for the above program.
Who Should Attend
Food handlers, chefs, supervisors, managers, and all staff working in the food & beverage establishments and hotels/resorts.
There is no entry requirement for this course.
Practise good personal hygiene
Use safe ingredients
Handle food safely
Store food safely
Maintain cleanliness of utensils, equipment and service/storage area
7.5 hours: 6 hours for Theory and 1.5 hours for Assessment

There will be a short test to evaluate student's understanding of the course.
Upon successful completion of the course and assessment, a Statement of Attainment will be awarded by WDA to participants.
Note: Local Students may receive course fee subsidy of up to 95% and may use their SkillsFuture credits to pay for the course.
