A holistic introduction to the textile and fashion industry understanding the process of design till finished goods focusing on production, sourcing and costing. Participants will gain the basic comprehension of textile fundamentals, ability to apprehend the processes for apparel production, elementary skills in production drawing till applying production tracking skills enhancing their ability of teamwork in their workplace.

Academic Requirements

Local Students
- GCE ‘N’ Level with 3 credits including English and Mathematics OR
- WSQ ES WPLN Level 4 and above
International Students
- High School Diploma equivalent to GCE ‘N’ Level with 3 credits including English and Mathematics OR
- Qualifications from professional institutes may be considered on a case-by-case basis AND/OR
- Pass TaF.tc Entrance Test
English Language Proficiency
- Possess a minimum credit in English at GCE ‘O’ Level or its equivalent OR
- IELTS score 4.5 or TOEFL score 450

Graduation Criteria

75% attendance rate of total training hours per module
Assessed and be competent for every module
Student Pass Holders – a minimum of 90% attendance per month will be required.

Awards

Upon successful completion of each module within the course, student will be awarded a WSQ Statement of Attainment (SOA). After successful completion of all 6 modules within the course, student will be awarded a WSQ Advanced Certificate in Fashion Technology (Merchandising and Marketing) together with transcript. WSQ certification is nationally endorsed and recognised by industry partners.
